Classiccloseouts sent defective merchandise, won't refund money RIPOFF

I think this company makes their profits by sending the wrong merchandise or defective merchandise then refusing to refund your money.

I ordered a coat and gave it as an xmas present and, to my embarrassment, the lining in the sleeve was torn.

I followed the EXACT specifications for returning an item. It has to be returned with in 30 days of order day—how convenient that it usually takes about that long to get the item.

I returned the item on 12/31/04. After numerous emails to the company and few return responses, I was issued a store credit on March 15. I was supposed to receive a refund by the same means I paid for the order—that's a credit card, not a store credit.

I certainly don't want to order anything else from this rip-off company and i made THAT quite clear to them in my emails. However, now they can say they gave me my refund and they'll still be ahead because I'll never use the store credit and take a chance of being ripped-off again.
