Walgreens Mail Service
Thyroid medication
I called Walgreens mail service and asked them to run my new prescriptions through a savings card. They didn’t know what the price was going to be but said they would get back to me. I told them not to send it until I agreed to the price. Shortly afterwards I received a notification from my credit card company that $171.56 had been charged to my credit card. This was way over the limit I had set for my card. I also received an email from Walgreens stating that one of the prescriptions had been sent. I called them and immediately put a stop to the process with the next medication. I discovered that they had used an old prescription which was twice the amount I wanted and had charged full price for it. I asked them to refund the transaction and they just said they would look into it. I had multiple phone calls with them over the next few days. Nobody seemed to know what was going on. Someone said they would send a mailer to return the medication in. The next person told me not to return it. The next person said they were processing my refund and I should return the medication. The mailer never arrived and I never got my refund.
