When I first moved into Green Tree Apartments and learned that NW&P would be the company that the complex used for water, sewage and boiler — later I found out that this also heated my water and was also used as my cooking gas too.
The office explained to me that I would be charged on how many rooms, the square footage and how many people lived in the building and also in the complex. This was then supposed to be divided by the number of individuals that lived in the complex and then charged accordingly.
I never fully understood how they came up with this calculation and when you receive you bill, there is NO breakdown showing you how the charges are made.
As the months went on, the bill jumped up by as much as $30.00 and I am now paying $101.98 per month with no breakdown how this was done. When I called the company, they told me to call my management office. When I called the complex, they gave me an explaination that to this day still doesn't make much sense. I have lived in the complex approximately ten months now and the bill steadly goes up with no concreate way of a breakdown to see how you're being billed.By doing this, it's impossible to even begin to cut corners. Is there help out there somewhere from the Government???
