No merchandise No refund RIPOFF

Order placed on December 1 intended as a Christmas gift. As the holiday approached, I tried several times to contact customer service and inquire whether my item would be received in time for Christmas.

My emails and telephone messages went unanswered until I requested a refund for my "backordered" item. Their online policy states that a refund can only be given if the item is unavailable from the supplier or backordered. The policy goes on to explain that any refund must occur within 45 days of the purchase to receive a credit on my charge card. After 36 days, I sent another email asking that I be given a refund before that 45 day limit expired. The customer service email link responded "Who told you the item was backordered?". Follow-up emails since then are unanswered. This was the only response I have received from Ace Wigs.

It has now been 45 days and I have not received any merchandise or refund. The order that I placed 12/1/04 still says "in process" on the web site. If my item is not backordered from the supplier, and therefore eligible for a full refund, then why haven't I received it?

This online merchant is the worst that I have dealt with. Refuses any communication with the customer and has basically stolen my money. Beware of doing business with Ace Wigs!
