Wrong Meds & Always Rude

I absolutely hate using CVS pharmacy ; however, my insurance will not cover prescriptions anywhere else. Everytime I go to pick up my meds there is something, not to mention the staff is always unfriendly, as if they are put out by having to help a customer. I once had to pick up medication after a high school sports injury to my knee and was sent home with some older man's heart medication. That is a hippa violation and extremely dangerous if my parents had not noticed.

Today I called my current CVS to have medications transferred after a move and have been told to call the location in which the meds will now be picked up. When calling that new location was immediately told, not asked, to hold. After waiting several minutes (no big deal), the gentleman answered the phone to help me and told me I needed to call the location the prescriptions currently where. I explained to him that I had just spoken with that location and they told me to call you. I could tell he was annoyed by the way he huffed in frustration.

Everytime I go to pick up my prescriptions, the staff is nothing but rude, they are not friendly in the least bit. I've worked in retail and I'm sympathetic and overly friendly to the staff but it is never returned.

I have given them several chances thinking "maybe it was just the person at this location" or "maybe that person was just having a bad day." I understand these things happen, but this has been going on for years. CVS needs to educate their employees about better customer service. If my insurance allowed me to go elsewhere, I would leave CVS in a heartbeat. I hate to speak ill of a company, but I've given them chances and changes need to be made.
