My Name is Mike Dunn and last week April 4th my wife went to Walgreens at 7490 Haggerty Rd. West Bloomfield, MI 48322 to refill some of my prescriptions and use an advertised coupon that was post in our local paper. It turned out to be one of the worst customer service experience I have ever witnessed in my life.
My wife noticed a coupon that stated for every transferred prescription receive a $25.00 gift card. So she read the restrictions printed on the coupon and decided this would be a good deal for us as I have many prescription that we use Kroger Pharmacy just down the street. So she collected a few of the coupons and then when the prescriptions started to come due went threw all the hassle of getting all the information from our Kroger Pharmacy to transfer over to Walgreens.
This was a big mistake Ginger the Pharmacist at Walgreens West Bloomfield MI accused my wife of trying to defraud Walgreens by using state or federal funded insurance plan. My wife tried to reason with her and explain to this Walgreens employee this was not either a state or federal insurance plan but the Pharmacist Ginger treated her as some sort of criminal.
By the time she returned home she was already on the phone with Walgreens customer service, who at this time seemed very concerned about what had just happened. After telling this person about this horrible in store ordeal a women gave my wife a complaint claim number and assured my wife that someone would be contacting her within 24 to 48 hours.
Now today is April 8 It has been about 85 hours and still no one from Walgreens has made any attempt to resolve this poor customer treatment. My wife called the West Bloomfield again talking with Ginger the Walgreens pharmacist that is the main character in this story trying to resolve this matter. Ginger stated nothing had been resolved and then suggested to her contacting someone at Walgreens calling (800) Walgreens as this is their customer service phone number. As I sat listing to one side of this call the operator that answered seemed that it was almost impossible to communicate with this person. My wife tried to explain with great difficulty she needed to talk with someone who could help her with this matter finally after great effort talking with a person that certainly doesn%u2019t help solve any problems at this company. She was directed to another line which that person didn%u2019t want to tell my wife her name or give her any information and just being difficult trying to piss her off. After almost demanding her name she stated her name was Amy, then hung up on my wife three time and seemed to try to make her even more mad. I am not sure who this person is but her phone number is 847-946-6407
