I thought for $1.00 I was receiving a view of my credit report. Full scam when I notice $29.95 pending on my ccard when I phoned company to receive refund and cancel anything I was unaware of being subscribed to. The rep recited that an email was sent explaining terms of my membership and it was my responsibility to receive the email.
And suggested I reap the benefit of my membership since I had paid for it. I explained I never enrolled, did NOT want their service. As the rep continued to attempt to BLOW a Blinding Smoke Screen over my Eyes, I directly called her out on the SCAM and she became "BITCHY" with me. They said they would request a refund and get back to me.
Two days go by and my $1.00 was refunded. I phoned again to escalate, rep said they would ask billing for permission to refund. I explained I was not ASKing for their permission and do NOT want their membership and let them know how many people have been Scammed/Ripped Off by them. They said all of you did not read the fine print. I asked for the Billing Dept phone number and the response was they do not have a phone number.
I informed them after the call my actions are to report their company to the BBB, FCC and join the list of folks on this site so their Fraudulent Business Practices are shut down. Rep informed me that he wished he could reverse the charge he has no power to do that, it is in the hands of their corporate office where their billing and done who does not communicate with consumer only takes their money.
