I placed an order 7 weeks ago! Last week I called to see what in the world happened, and the jerk I spoke with told me that because of hurricane Sandy, it was delayed... I totally understand that but I mean COME ON! 7 weeks?! It should have already been shipped out before the hurricane even hit! So he gets rude and tells me there's nothing he can do for me, no credit, or anything, but if I no longer want the package to refuse it. (The problem was that 3 of the items were gifts I no longer needed because of their delayed shipping! One of the items I did want) He said I can either accept the whole thing, or have none of the items in the package. Well, today it finally came, and the ONE thing I wanted wasnt even in the package!!! Wtf! So I call, and he said he'll refund just that one item. I told him I didn't want any of it, and he said there's nothing they can do, and they're not refunding my money! What irritates me is that they tried to get away charging me for items that they already knew I wasnt getting because they were out of stock! They didn't even notify me, or put a note on the invoice! When I called again, the woman was talking over me as I was trying to explain the situation... As I kept calm and never raised my voice, she told me to shut up and stop yelling at her while she explained the policy. Shockingly at this point I still hadnt even raised my voice... And calmly asked her if she was feeling okay because she must be hearing voices in her head as I have not raised the volume of my voice one bit. Then she started screaming the store policy at me over the phone like an escaped mental patient. I understand rules and policies, but you need to apply your own common sense to the situation! Obviously they are wrong! Policy or not... It should be every company's policy to make their customers happy SO THAT THEY RETURN AND SPEND MORE MONEY! Duh! I'm calling my attorney first thing Monday, and then I'm reporting them to the better business bureau. (current mood= LIVID)
