I ordered tickets to American Idiot online. The total for two tickets was $204.60. When the tickets arrived several months later the face value was $27 per ticket, at the same time I received an e-mail from the company asking for feedback on the tickets. When I contacted them with the price difference they informed me their prices weren't based on actual value, but the demand Ticket-Center thought the show would have, and they refused to do anything about it.
It make matters worse the show was not sold out, about 1/3 of the theater was empty, but our seats were in the last row on the far right of the theater. Basically the worst seats you could get. I could have gotten much better seats walking up to the theater the day of the show then I did ordering them 10 months in advance.
This business needs to be shut down.
