Yahoo Music is fun and I enjoy listening to the music for free. However, when I purchased two songs they would not download and I could not get my money back. Yahoo Music has no apparent working customer support. There is no telephone number you can call and they do not respond to emails.
In other words, if you have a problem (like me) you are not likely to have any recourse. That is not the kind of business I want to do business with. An effective business requires accountability. Any business that is not accountable is not a business you should be doing business with. I would not mind so much if someone wrote back and said sorry we cant help you. So I am saying so long, Sorry Yahoo.
HOw can they remedy this? 1. Offer a customer support number, 2. Respond to customers emails to your technical support.
What can you do? If you have a similar experience about the only thing you can do is move on. Before you do, remove your credit card information from the site. I am sorry to have entered my credit information there./ Maybe a smarter move in the future would have been for me to test customer service BEFORE I JOIN.
My objective in sharing this information is not to get my $1.98 back but to help others make good consumer choices. You know, it makes buying your music on ebay or a music club look more inviting. Thank you.
