As a result of a change of address, from a rual route address to a 911 address, and confusion with the local post office occurring after the change, some of my mail was returned to sender unbeknowing to me. I learned of this return when I was purchasing items at J.C. Penney and was told that my account was closed. Ok. Was working with people to get that cleared up when I learned that my account with Lowe's had also been closed. No notification. Just zap! Closed! No behind payments, account in good standing. Found out that GE Money Bank manages the account and decided with the press of a button to take that action against me. I was promised a letter, by 4/2/10, that I could send to Lowe's from someone at GE Money Bank representing J.C. Penney, but have not received it yet that would help re-open my account with Lowe's. I'm distressed over these events beyond my control. I've always paid on time and more often than not, entire balance instead of monthly payments. I miss Lowe's and want to be a happy customer, not embarrased to go in and speak with my friends at customer service where I faithfully paid my bills ON TIME! Please HELP me.
