My complaint to Lowes
Major complaint about my account.
I just received a bill that stated that I have triggered the penalty rate on my account etc.
I have been a customer for 10 years at Lowe's purchasing items for my home and paying them off... Always! In the past twelve months, I had 2 payments that were late; I am talking a day late... Not 30 days, by accident.
When calling customer service, my options were to close my account and keep my interest rate the same and pay it off, or pay the penalty interest rate for 12 months.
I understand that I may have been "a day" late, however after being a customer for so long, you would think I would have another option if you wanted to keep a good customer, but we are just computer generated. I guess you just want to loose customers, because as of today I have closed my long standing account at Lowe's.
I will pay off my balance at my current rate and do all my future home purchases at Home Depot. Thanks Lowe's for your understanding... Way to go!
