I had Dale Erickson build my house. I paid him in full for the completion of the house. A month later he bill me for an additional $10,000. The majority of the money was for a heat pump that he installed without a change order. He claimed the heat pump was worth $6900. Turns out the heat pump was a 2005 phased out 10 seer Carrier model that was mixed matched; outside unit was bigger than the inside unit, which does not work efficiently. Since I would not pay him for his shoddy work, Dale Erickson put a lien on my house.in addition to the heat pump I had a water line break in the ground, which was placed during the rough in of the house as well as my septic was left in a huge mound 3 feet higher than the rest of the ground.
I would not recommend this contractor.
