Their salesman promised us the "best of the best" in installation of our new heat pump. The men from the subcontractors that Sears used (Triad Heating and Air) showed up and got it half installed on Friday of this week. This is the middle of July. They left at 3:30 without turning the air back on and said they would be back on Monday to finish the job. It is supposed to be in the 90's all weekend. We called and complained to Sears. Sears got the owner out to the house, who supposedly got the air on for us. It is not working. The air conditioner on our new Payne heat pump has run constantly now for a day and a half and the temperature has not gone below 78 degrees. (It is set on 70). Also, the contractors left all the old unit components sitting in my back yard. The Sears salesman says he has no authority to tell Sears they have to replace this with a working unit. I don't think the installation was done correctly. I think they installed an inferior product, and I want my money back.
I do not want these installers coming back to my house. I want my money back and my old air conditioning put back in until I can find a reputable place to get my heat pump.
