I bought a nearly $ 1,000 new washing machine from them. First and last time I am a customer.
Despite the fact that I bought white glove service, and had taken the time to speak to the trucking company that delivered the washing machine to ensure there was no mix-up, the truck arrived out of the blue a week early.
It says - as I'm looking at it now "deliver on 12/12 at 10:00 am." I am writing this at 1:50 pm on 12/6. It is just a lucky happenstance I am even home to receive it.
I would NOT recommend buying from AppliancesConnection. I spoke to a customer service representative who said "sorry - not our fault." As in, no big deal. The trucking company was similarly unconcerned.
I don't know about you, but when I spend $ 1,000 on something I expect at least a courtesy phone call if there is a change of delivery. Even overstock.com who delivers everything for $ 2.95 emails me if there is a change in delivery. This company could not be bothered with any kind of notification even when I paid up front for $ 50.00 white glove service. What the heck, it's not their money.
Now I have a washing machine sitting in the middle of my garage that I have no idea how I'm going to move into the laundry room. I guess my husband needs to break his back, as well as his wallet. I also have no idea if it is even working.
Avoid at all costs!!!"
