In August a complaint was filed with cpu stating allegations of sexual abuse to my daughter from my ex boyfriend. I was not contacted for 2 days after report, I was excluded from medical investigation. My daughter stated to me it was never done and the allegation was only heard by the girlfriend of my daughters dad. Over the next 2 days My 17 year old son had decided to drink beer and take pills and I called 911 because of his actions and he was taking to hospital.
That monday case worker kathy Elliott contacted me about both children we set up to meet, she told me I had to make appointment with doctor for daughter which I did and have a home visit which we scheduled. On wed she called again to verify. Then on thursday she contacted me, which was the day of appointment with doctor as well as home visit. We had a conversation which got heated, due to me not wanting my daughters dad and girlfriend at the exam.
I felt like it would be more comfortable for my daughter as well as me. Now to back track my history with the girlfriend was very negative. She had made threts to me to do and I quote" whatever it takes to take my daughter from me" that was 2 weeks prior to allegation. So of course I did not want them around me. I also did not believe the allegation from the start, due to knowing my daughter and her relationship with the ex boyfriend.
So as the argument got heated cause she was adament on them being there I hung up on her. Within 3 hours of this conversation she cancelled the doctor visit as well as home visit and came to my house and removed my children. Now i was no thret nor involved with the allegations on my daughter nor my son on monday but after our convoersation i was suddenly a thret to my children.
My children were not in my home durring this conversation nor did i put them in any danger. I followed everything they told me I had to do. After the courts involvment and them siding with cpu it was ordered a case plan go in affect I was ordered to do councling, alchole/drug test, family councling and councling with my daughter. I was also ordered to seek parenting classes. I have completed all the above and followed the case plan. I am still under supervised visits.
My daughter has since left the state with the girlfriend to live while her dad is still here for now. The case worker clearly stated her unwillingness to return My daughter cause i have a bad attitude not cause I am a bad parent. She has not followed up on the case plan, nor has she kept an open mind. She made her decision from the start based on a few conversations with me. She is not doing what is best for children only whats best for father and girlfriend.
She has a friendly relationship with them. She has been judgemental and on one side from the start. The case plan says purpose is reunification. She told me she wouldnt let my daughter come back but would my son. She allowed them to move 11 hours away, which was what started all this before our court date. There has been no proof of any wrong doing on my part with my daughter what so ever. Now the man they allgege did this has never been questioned or charged.
The physical exam did not happen due to the girlfriend stopping it. The councling that was suggested with my children and myself was voided by cpu the individule councling with my daughter revealed no signs of sexual abuse. The father missed multiple appointments, and my daughter was taking out of school several times to go to Virgina where she now lives. There was no parenting ordered for father no councling ordered and the individual councling for my daughter was never done.
I have worked my butt off to do all that is asked of me and still i cant get my regular visitation. When I ask Rebecca about it she states I have a bad attitude and Nakiah My daughter is adjusting fine. This whole case has been done wrong, My lawyer is at a loss on the law with the way this has been done. A child advicate guardian at liutum was ordered and he has met my children one time on sept for 15 min. Has never done a follow up never contacted me nor my children. How is he on the childs side.
The corruption within this case goes on and on and something needs to be done a review something. I have never been involved with cpu prior to this. My children have never been harmed by my hands or with my knowledge and I am a good mother. I have done child care for over 10 years and have never had a complaint. Durring this case the judge did not allow all my witnesses he refused to hear me from day one or to understand the reasons leading up to this. I have been harassed thretened prank calls texts emails and no one will listen to me. The cpu should not be able to run a case like this.
