I had went for a 2nd interview at this company and before they send you out in the "field" they make you watch a video telling you about when you become a manager you will have all these great things coming your way. And by the way it was a very motivating video, it made you want to be the people on it. So then i go out in the field that day with a team leader and it was ok. He was telling me things about the company and going over the 5 steps and just other things that i may need to know. Then we got back to the office and he asked me in for a third interview. So i was kindof into it so i accepted. I went in and he then gave me a paper that had all these questions on it (they call it a survey) and things that i was suppose to memorize through out the day. Which i didnt so i thought just great i am not going to get this job because i didnt remember everything my team leader told me. So then i went into the managers office and he asked me how i liked my day and then started to go over the pay scale. He told me in the first few weeks i should make around $400-$600. Then after i move to the next step i would get another $100-. And each step you would get more money. Then maybe in 3 months you would be manager of your own branch. So i said sounds good. And then the next day i went to my job that i have been working at for years pay wasnt horrible but moving up in the company was very hard but they did have benefits and pto and over all now that i think about it, it wasnt that bad. Yeah so i gave my two wks there to move on the this great new job where i will become a manager in 3 months.
So on my first offical day i get to the office at 830am. Alot of people were already there. So i sat in the lobby and filled in some paper work. Telling me we got paid on fridays and if i use my car i would get $5. Each day when i drive my own car. (never happened) so then another team leader then comes out and tells me to go get my car and pull it around the back i am driving. (My first day) so i then go do that and on my first day we were already taking out someone who was doing there second interview. So i couldnt ask any questions that i may of had cause you cant talk about certain things when the interview people are around. Like the pay. So that day was horrible. We went to sams club on a very hot day. I got soo badly sunburned. I got home that night and just wanted to quit. It was horrible. But i knew i couldnt. I told my self let me go back and see if it happens again. So then i went back for the next couple of days and realized after i started to figure out how this company works i was only making $10- aday... (yes a day) so i already spending around $ 20- a day just on gas and food. So what ever i was making wasnt even worth it cause it was gone. They have you get to work at 800am and then you stay in the office until around 1100am getting train on different steps and techiques to learn on the field. (like 5 steps, 8 steps. And you hear them everyday. Then the manager does a motvating talk trying to tell you that this is starting you own business. Then you stay out in the field until 7pm. Yeah so no time for family or friends i wasnt getting home until 8 most nights. So 8am to 8pm. And getting paid around $10- a day...
Ok so my last day i just had it!!! They sent me and another girl to a rest stop where it was disgusting. It was an hr and half away... And of course no gas money. So more money down the drain. This was a thurs. They tell you on thurs to stay out as late as you can. They want you to stay out till like 9pm to make as much money as you can. Yeah we were done with this job. We left around 5pm. It was an hr and half away and by the time i got home again it was like 730pm. Crazy hours, horrible pay. They lie to you. Make you think you are going to become your own manager some day..
(so the places we went to my first and only wk. Sams club, dunkin donuts, sams club again, truck stop) i realized also that the same people went to this stores alot. So alot of people were saying how "oh i already did it i got the t-shirt" and you are suppose to say. Well we like 2nd offenders.
So please if you are looking to get a job and a company that sounds like something like this dont. It is a scam. There are all over and with all different names. Soo if it sounds like something like this but with a different name it is still the same. I have learned my lesson the hard way. Left a job that was a great company and i just wanted a change and a chance to move up in a company and i screwed myself. Soo please be careful... And the organization only gets 5% of the sales that you make out the field cause they have to still pay the person out there and of course themselves.
