Big Pyramid scam. Mike Putnam and crew sell people looking to work on the idea that if you work hard they will make money. They con people in all levels of their operation and the only ones making money are them. What they do is very basic. At each level in this pyramid they dangle a fake carrot infront of the person in attempt to make them run even faster. Then tell them how much money everyone makes and with dedication they can get their quickly. They receive 100 dollars in production from Home Depot for each lead people get on the field. Then they give 60 dollars to whoever is running that particular office. Then the office manager passes between 25 and 40 dollars to the person who actually gets the lead.
So it goes like this. When a new hire is brought on they are told they will make between 600 and 700 dollars a week. ("lie" carrot number one)
Most people do not average 3 leads a day and they claim that to be average.
Next level of pyramid, Team Leader More work and no extra money. They con people into this position by telling them they will have their own office in several months if they work hard and do a good job. (carrot number two) Most Team Leaders do not promote out, they are just worked even harder till they burn out.
Now the third Pyramid level. Office Managers. They are told they are starting to get into the Putnam inner circle and to keep working hard and they will be "RICH". They tell the manager that they will be making over 100K a year in no time as soon as they get their office running properly. Basically to hire as many people as possible to generate leads and they will make money off each person. They also tell the office manager that they will get to the inner circle and REALY MAKE MONEY once they can promote out one of their team leader to open their own office and that they will make 10% off that office.
So it's basic The office manager wants to hire as many lead generators as they can because most don't last long and they want to get as many leads as possible from them while they can plus pay them for less leads then they generate.
Then you have leadership which is the worst position because you get worked even harder and don't make a dollar more than lead generators. But you get told you will have your own office one day and will be making BIG MONEY.
Then you have the office manager who has to scam their lead generators to be able to make enough money to keep up the office. The manager is constantly being told how much money Mike, Harmony and crew make and that they are taking them (the manger) under their wing so that they can be like them.
So at the end of the day basically the inner circle are the only ones who are living decent lives off the hard work of the rest of the pyramid. Most lead generators don't last a month and most offices last only a couple of months and then they get someone to open another office that soon fails also but as long as they still get their cut they are happy. And don't forget that the people at the top (MIKE & CREW) get the biggest cut and they have the easiest job. (con people to open offices)
