In May I purchase a Mytouch phone and 2 year contract. I was provided a phone number.initial use of the phone identified a different person, not me. I was told by the store it would take a day or so to set up.in the beginning of June, I chatted on line and was told the problem would be resolved in 72 hours, if I did not get an email from T-mobile, I did not, the next week i called got the same answer but was then told 72 hours was incorrect (not my problem). A "ticket" was resubmitted, one week later no response. A follow up by me on chat, oh we have to contact technical services. Nothing... Next phone call I have to contact my LAN line phone company to do this. Why wasn't I told this to begin with? So I did and Brighthouse (which is an outstanding company) submitted the change 3 times to the 3rd party caller id company with no result and explained to me that the id company would not take the change from them and it had to go through t-mobile. Now 12 July - per Kevin - I was just told by T-mobile they could not do anything? UNACCEPTABLE! And Jesus Christ, I was told that if I continued to use "profanity" i would be disconnected, I asked how Jesus' name could be considered profanity. What a moron. This is my first cell phone contract. I have always used my cell phone from work but finally decided to buy my own. Based on one month, lack of customer service response, I would like to cancel my contract, return the phone. Please arrange for me to do this. I work for a company and I would never never authorize such unknowledgeable, unqualified personnel near a customer. I have dealt with 5 people to no avail. I'm not use to paying for a service and being treated like this. Please contact me immediately. I would tell you to call the cell phone number to contact me but it suppossedly not active (even though it works) and the new number is not working. Don't know what would happen.
