On 5/20/08 I purchased a Refurbished Westinghouse Model SK-26H520S from Buy.com. After being backordered for nearly a month, the television was delivered to my house on 6/19/08 in perfect cosmetic condition. Unfortunately, I realized the television was dead-on-arrival soon after plugging it in (a Blue-power LED would appear, but no picture would be displayed on the screen). Thinking I was simply down on my luck, I was forced to ship (at my own expense) the television back to the Westinghouse headquarters, in Santa Fe Springs, California, from my hometown of Ballston Spa, New York. After two weeks of waiting for Westinghouse to receive the original DOA television, send out a new one and arrange for myself to be home to sign for the item, I finally received the replacement television from Fedex ground on 7/10/08. To my dismay, the replacement unit was dead-on-arrival as well.

After immediately calling the television support hotline I was told I could send the television back using the new RMA#40009968CU. I was also told that Westinghouse would provide shipping labels to me via email, which I have yet to receive after 13 days (even tho customer service rep's claim they may take up to 5 business days to receive)

After 40 phone calls and three months of waiting I am still without a working TV or a shipping label to send back the 2nd DOA unit.

Stay away from westinghouse!!!
