I purchased the phone from Inphonic Inc in January. I purchased the family plan. T-Mobile was my service provider. As soon as I activated the phone, my phone was ringing non stop day and night. I called T-mobile they advised me to change the phone number. I changed the phone number.
In March I received an email (not even a paper bill) from their collection department demanding $250.00 for breaking the contract. I am still T-mobile customer so I called Inphonic and T-mobile. I talk to Inphonic back and forth for several hours/day for more than two weeks. I told them that I am still a T-mobil customer. T-mobile rep made a call to them also notified them that I still have service with them and the reason for phone number change was the abused calls. I send them copy of my phone bills. I thought that everything was resolved until June 13 when they called me at work. I try to explain the lady that this issue was resolved about nine months ago. She said because I changed the phone number, I broke the contract. She said that they are sending the statement to me every month. I have not received any statement from them. I try to explain her why I had to change the phone number, she told me that I should have turned my phone off and with saying that she hang up the phone on me.
I called their customer service rep same day in the evening and talk to the supervisor. He did not bother to listen to me also. He said he does not have record of my conversation with their rep which I had in March
Even their email says "If you have not deactivated this line of service but have changed your mobile number or equipment on this line causing T-Mobile to incorrectly report a deactivation, please contact us immediately." I did contact their customer service dept. But now they are saying that they don't have any record of my calls
