Same complaint as someone else posted on here. I had $89 taken out of my account by check. I had to call my credit union to get the information on the check. I called the company, Money Plus Saver. Apparently I filled out some application and was charged their fee. I did not fill out an application and I certainly did not authorize anyone to take the money out of my account.
I was told to fill out a form and to send them a copy of my bank transaction showing that the funds had cleared my account. Then I was told they would "review" my application and then contact me within 5 days to let me know if I was "eligible" for a refund. And if I was "approved" for a refund it would take up to 30 days.
That's when I got upset. I told the person on the phone that I wanted my money back within 3 days of sending the refund request, not 30 days. For 30 days they will have my money and they will be able to earn interest off of it. It isn't just me who has been scammed, obviously, so I am sure this is their deal, to make you wait 30 days to process a refund while they earn interest off of your money. I am also reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.
