It was my daughter who is going through a divorce & a breakdown this is a contributor of her problem! She obtained a voucher from Living Social online for an MOT Service on her car costing £29 the garage said the brakes needed attention charge her £120 but the brakes were not right they screeched terribly when applied she returned for them to work on them again but still remained th same noise! They agreed to go out to her one weekend as she said she could not carry on the journey to the city as she has two small children. They didnt turn up but rang late on the sunday evening to say they would not be going! I took this up with the Trading standards who repeatedly contacted the garage but no response & its got to the point of taking them to court as per the T. S BUT my daughter is too distraught to go ahead with it AND now her X husband was so angry about it he took it to a garage he deals with & they corrected it at last BUT she still did not get a service as there was no service sheet stating what they had done which I am familar with having services done on my own car AND no stamp in the service book either so I would assume it was not carried out! I am still trying to fight the case for her & have contacted Living Social about it but they will only deal with the person who bought the voucher & she is in Scotland not able to take it on. So we are at a loss as to know what else to do! Thank you if you can help
