Suspected connection to ID_Experiential, Paul Ephremson, Others Sweepstakes Fraud, likely various others including computer hacking and employment fraud

I am certain these operators are scammers, and I see several complaints on usacomplaints.com for companies called things like "GCR Funding."

I actually wanted to edit my report of yesterday on Paul Ephremson and ID_Experiential.

Because of highly suspicious timing and a minimal precaution I took, I suspect these two companies are affiliated.

As reported yesterday, Paul Ephremson ran an employment scam on me although he had already gained unauthorized access to my computer — which I had remediated yesterday.

Today, I got a call on my CELL phone from these GCR [or maybe it's GRC, that's how I have written down] folks, with an obviously scam "sweepstakes" offer.

I took the minimal precaution of calling back on my LANDLINE phone. I said I got a call on my cell phone, and the person on the line then proceeded to tell me he was trying to reach me, by my name.

But... I was calling back on a different number, so he shouldn't have had that information that readily available on a separate number — unless, of course, he was associated with someone who had gotten identifying information through unauthorized computer access. Yes, if one has the phone number, one can eventually apply the person to whom it belongs. But it should not be instantaneous like that when someone calls in on a different phone number.

This call came in within 24 hours after I had my computer remediated.

I suspect all it is is a bid by ID_Experiential through a "front man" company to get me to visit another risky website so that they can regain access to my computer.

NOTE WELL: There IS [or at least used to be] a legitimate business called GCR based in Massachusetts. That one, based somewhere around the Waltham/Needham area used to place professional level people [technical writers, programmers, engineers] in legitimate on-site jobs.

Although ID_Experiential is UK based, in the scam, they claim associations with U.S. Based "colleagues" — this person had an American accent, and I suspect this is the so-called "colleague" who was supposedly the holder of the invalid Chase bank accounts associated with ID_Experiential.
I did not get full information on these people, since I only stayed on the line long enough to get the URL addresss and inform they I would be reporting them to the authorities.

But the incoming phone number on my cell phone was: 239-443-4992
