I received a call from 347-480-1148. The only reason I know the number is because I asked the girl to please give me contact info since I thought my phone was going out and I wanted her number just in case. It was a scam but she made the mistake of giving me her true number which I have verified. She pretended to be calling from Microsoft to tell me that my computer was sending repeated signals to MS because of viruses on my system. She was ALREADY in my system without me doing anything. She then transferred me to her "supervisor" who wanted me to d/l and buy the Teamviewer product. Whether he was actually trying to sell the product is in doubt since he probably just wanted full access to my system. I immediately turned off my computer. He said his name was Robert Jackson but neither was American born based on their difficulty with English. I have reported the scam to both MS and the FBI but the word needs to get out. MS does not call people this way and they have confirmed it is a scam.
