They charged me over £311 simply for cancelling a booking that they didnt have to pay a penny for (I spoke to the person at the Europcar desk on the ground when I turned up for my new Hertz reservation a few days later).
I tried to cancel online as is usual these days, but when I didn't receive any email confirmation after some time I rang them to check - they then said it was within 48 hours of the booking and kept the full amount.
The worst customer service I have ever had. Appallingly deceptive and money-grabbing company with zero principles.
