Caremark will deny any prescription for any name brand medicine. I use generics but are talking about the ones there is no Generics. They require you to use some ineffectice generic in that class within a year for 30 days before they will pay. So this means if your doctor writes you a name brand prescription (one there is no generics) and you get the prescription for a yr. At some point Caremart will refuse your refill. You must go off try a generic for 30 days and re submit another prescrition for the name brand drud there is no generics for.
Come on guys!!! For arthritis medicines and others who need their medication daily. You asre causing people serious pain and medical problems all in attempt to save money.
The idea of refusing a medication escpecially one thats been working and you previously paid for is opening up Caremart for a class action lawsuit.
Its only a matter of time.
Whatever happened to just paying higher co pays for prescriptions without a generic counterpart.
