I was contacted today by someone that could harly speak english. He had my phone number. He said I have a problem with my windows. He wanted me to go online, but I disconnected the call.
Several months ago I tried a program "Make My PC Faster" As soon as it was installed, I had problems. I called their troubleshooting line and got someone in Asia. He instructed me to go onto the internet and use a connection service. I did. He also told me to turn on my Event Viewer
I did. He looked at my screen and said I had serious problems, but he could fix everything for $150. I was also talking to him on the phone. I disconnected both the phone and computer connection.
I asked today's person, which I thing was Spanish, how he got my phone number. He said it was from the windows data base. When I disconnected the phone conversation, my phone
started to ring. I did not y PC Faster worked.
