Home local &long distance telephone switching

On or about December 26th I recieved a call from att inviting me to switch my cabletv, internet, and phone service. I was offered a bundled program which included local phone and unlimited long distance, hi-speed interned and direct tv programing to include over200 channels and 4 premium channels for 98.00 mo. The installation was scheduled for 1/6. Att called to confIrm the installation of only the phone service. The evening before. The next morning I tried to call att wanting to find out what time they could be expected and when the other services would be installed. This was about 10 AM. My phone line was aready disconnected. And I could not call them on the land line. I went to my cell phone and contacted the telephone service they confirmed the time and I ask to speak to the T V installer to find out when the T V and internet would be installed in doing this I ask for a rundown of the premium channels that they were going to install. They said that the installation did not call for the connection of all 4 of my premium channels and that the price quoted would be $30.00 more which was the same or more than what i was currently paying to WOW. I canceled the connection and called the phone services connection I canceled that as well. I called my phone service at WOW and they said they could not reconnect me because att had my number. They offerd to contact att and did. But with no success. Att said that my number cound not be connected do to the fact that it was already disconnected and WOW tells me that they donot have the number because they gave it to att.

Now they tell me that I can be reconnected but I have to have a new different number I have had that number for 41 years at this address and I want it back. As a result of this problem I have accumulated over 4 hours of air time on my cell phone. And have been with out home telephone service for 6 days and will not be able to reconnect for 4 more days

Can any one help me???
