I purchased a brand new kenmore elite he washing machine 30 months ago and it got used on a limited basis because there is only 3 persons in my household, it recently stop working for no apparent reason. I had a technician come and look at it for a non-refundable fee of $40. He preceded to inform me that both the electronic board and control panel were shot and needed to be replaced. He then preceded to inform me that these two parts would cost me more money than what i paid for the whole machine and i would like to know how this could be possible? If i had purchased a brand new car and needed to replace the motor would you expect to pay more for the motor than you did for the whole car?
