I have purchased a sears kenmore elite washing machine (calypso model top of the line) so i was told. Spent a fortune on it and sears was out here 4-5 times the 1st year constantly fixing our washing machine. It should have been junked after the 3 rd repair and i am on my 3rd motor and needing a new motor as I write this review. We are a family of 5 and the washing machine runs on the weekends 3-4 loads so its not like we abused the machine and as far as a heavy duty load it was non existent. I heard it was a part of a class action lawsuit and I should have recieved a credit towards a new washing machine, that never happened I have tried numerous times unsuccessfully to reach out to the sears company only to get passed around the country to different managers and no one in the companys heriarchy was able to help me. I am hoping this letter will let the buyer beware please do your due dilegence before buying anything from sears They are a big powerhouse and once they have your money they do not care about the consumer at all... I am going to check consumer reports and thencheck prices for a new machine. Unless sears makes this right I will Never buy another product from there ever again...
