I'm a grandparent who used AT&T's online service to purchase minutes for my grandson's Go-Phone. After entering the phone number the website gave me a selection list showing costs per number of days. I selected $50 with a corresponding 90 days. Then It took me to their payment screen and I charged it to my Visa.
30 days later 9/06 the phone service is off. I called AT&T and complained about false advertising and demanded the other 60 days. After finally talking to a manager he agreed that I had a legitimate complaint and he will put in a request to add 60 days to the phone but it will take 24-48 hours to turnaround the request. It has been more than 24 hours and no word from this manager. I will contact him again and update this complaint. There needs to be a class action law suit against AT&T for this unethical unlawful behavior. They're actually stealing money from consumers.
