Adopted the puppy in May. Was assured that she would be spayed and that she had all of her shots except rabies—it would be done later. I've asked for the vet records and an appointment to get the puppy spayed but she won't respond. I have sent over 15 emails without a response. It is now August. I just wanted to do the right thing an adopt from a rescue.
My advise is to research rescues before doing business with them—make sure your pet is sterilized and get proof of shots before writing the check. I figured that dog people are trustworthy. Not all.
