I also applied for a dog at A1K9 Dog Rescue. I had an approved response within 30 minutes, and was told immediately how in order for my puppy to be held I needed to put a $200.00 deposit on the dog. I did not have my Vet References checked, or further questions asked. I was just told that I needed to put my deposit down. I was also told that if I did not put a deposit on the puppy, and someone else came along she would "sell" it to them!
A1K9 rescue also ships their rescues! I have never heard of a rescue ever, I mean ever shipping their rescues.
Her rescue also only has puppies, which sends up red flags! I think it is very sad the way A1K9 is exploiting these puppies. Personally I believe A1K9 is a puppy broker. It is very sad to see this kind of person on a dog rescue site. She is not trying to shut down puppy mills she is just simply keeping them in business.
Also my thoughts on the Rebuttal quoting the first line "It was written by a minor that was upset at not being able to adopt a dog" I see that as a very false statement A1K9 seeing you approve every perspective candidate!
