APX sold me a honeywell alarm unit. APX became vivint, the unit never worked again, as the contract with honeywell was lost. A vivint tech came out and confirmed the unit was fried and they could not replace it. They agreed to refund me the money they had withdrawn from my account from the date the tech came, as they were not fulfilling their end of our contract. No refund was issued, and I stopped payments from my account to them once sure that my obligation was met. They continued to attempt withdrawls, and when confronted They tried VERY HARD to upsell me into a renewed contract with upgraded equipment. I told them I dont trust the company, that I need to be released from the contract that they are not fulfilling. Now I have spoken with 10 different people 20 different times - they end up appeasing me on the phone and then continuing to attempt withdrawls and threaten collections. Just bad business, and I feel justice will not be done, as corporations no longer seem interested in customer loyalty.
