I went into an agreement with Apex Home Security in April. For three years I had a written agreement for home security.in 2012 the name changed to Vivint Home Security.
I called to discontinue their service when my contract was over and I was told I was singed up again for another year. I did not give them permission to do so. I ask to cancel this service and they are telling me I have to keep it for another year since it had been reinstated.
I find that to be dishonest, which means if I had signed for 3 years I should be able to discontinue at my request. I have called a few time and no one is helping me in this situation.
There should be some laws to companies automatically resigning customers without thier permission. I do not want this service anymore and this past year since April I have been unlawfully under another agreement w/o my permission.
I want Vivint to repay me and release me from this service w/o it damaging my credit.
