I was with Vivint for over 5 years. When I moved out of the house that I had Vivint’s alarm system in, I rented out that house and left the alarm as a perk for the renters. When I eventually sold that house Vivint wouldn't allow me to cancel the contract even though I no longer owned the home and my original obligation was already up. This company does not care about the consumer, they only want their money. It was pretty lousy that I had to pay for something that I didn't even own any longer. I will never go with this company again. Now I am with ADT and a lot happier. They also offer a shorter contract obligation and better perks.
