I was called by a company informing me that my computer is severely infected with f=viruses and tha they needed to check if my Firewall ws working. On questioning them and seeing their website i allowed them acces to my comouter via my IPP address. I then had a choice of payment too protect my computer - I paid £69 for 6 months protection.
I now do not believe that this was a genuine call and although i don't care about the money i worry for others who may fall for this.
