I hired a van through A1 and have fallen into their trap of non payment of the £500 deposit. I have never been treated in such a rude manner when I phoned and asked for them to deal with this issue. The staff were abussive and on many occasions they put the phone down on me. I complained through their complaints procedure and got no reply. Promises were made that were never kept. I was promsied time and again that it would be paid in 3/5 working days. Eventually Barclaycard have now cancelled the amount from my account and are investigating the situation. This company should never be used and should be prosecuted for holding my money fraudently.
