Still No sign of my £250 deposit

I hired a van on 23rd April. Thought the price of £80 was quite reasonable for 1 day. However when some of my usually payments from my bank account were being returned as unpaid, I checked my account to find A1 National van hire had taken a further £250 without my knowledge. I called and spoke with Markwho advised me it was standard to take this as a deposit and was part of the agreement which i undertook when i hired the van. I put this down as something i might have missed in the booking and accepted the fact it is required when you hire a van. However, Mark assured me the deposit would be paid back into my account within 7 to 10 working days. This time passed and no refund so made a call again and was advised that payment was showing on their system as being paid back but they said they would cancell that payment and make a new refund which would take again 7 to 10 working days. Again same thing happened, no refund and again was advised that payment would be made into my account today at the latest. Surprise Surprise, no refund still. Ill be calling tomorrow and will be finding out where the owner of this business lives and if payment isnt made shall be making a home visit to recover my money. I hired the van on the 23rd April and the van was delivered to my home address in New Malden for the one day hire. My name, Mr Finn, will be getting familair with them if the payment isnt made.
