Yr Benefits contacted my 87 year old mother and represented themselves as offering a Medicare savings. My mother has alzeimers and has no recollection of this phone call or what it was about. When I balanced her checkbook on 6/18 I noticed this "electronic check not signed by my mother, deducting $447.34 from her account. I don't know what they told her to obtain her checking account #. I contacted the number on the check and was told this was a 3rd party, and a refund would be issued within 21 days... After no refund in 21 days I phoned again and was told give it another 7 days... It is now 8/2 and I called them again... Asked for a number for YR benefits and was told they could not give it to me, they were their 3rd party customer service! I contacted my bank and they are looking into it. Meanwhile I have searched the internet for fraud complaints against YR Benefits and sure enough, there have been plenty. The company doesn't really exist, they are just a group of "scammers" taking advantage of the elderly. They need to be stopped!!!
