I have attempted to resolve this multiple times with various comcast service representatives. They are powerless.
I arranged relocation of comcast services through their moving service, and was not told to return leased equipment. Since we were moving within Florida, and I asked to transfer identical service level, I assumed the equipment would work in our new home.
During installation, the comcast stated our leased equipment was not compatible in our new location and that he would not accept our return.
After three calls, a comcast representative promised deliver of prepaid UPS shipping boxes to our new address, whereby I could mail the equipment back according to Comcast instructions. After two weeks, the boxes never arrived.
Another call to the Jacksonville service center and that representative told me the the boxes could only be delivered to my old address. She promised to speak with her boss, when I requested boxes to my current address, OR a full credit for the $310 being charged to my account. She never responded.
I want the equipment cost waived after all the time, headache, and bad communication by Comcast Florida.
