We purchased a $1500 refridgerator and 5 year warranty from HHGREGG. The refridgerator has developed an 15 inch crack in the interior wall. HHGREGG's position is that the warranty is not valid unless the refridgerator suffers complete failure. The salesman, sales manager, and store manager all confirm that the cracked wall can lead to complete failure but will not authorize patching or replacing the appliance 'because corporate won't let us.' They also agree that if they bought an item at another store with a warranty, they would expect it to be valid.
