My elderly mother received a phone call from someone last week stating they were from "First Alert" and that her checking acct. # was all over the internet and they had "taken care of it". They then offered all these medical benefits and she told them no, but today I see a check cleared two days ago for $392.00 from YR Benefits. I can only hope the bank has some sort of coverage to protect her from this.
