TLG Shoppers charged my banking account for the past 4 months $16.99/ month for a free trial subscription which had been cancelled on time on February17. Eventhough it has been cancelled, this company started to withdrawal $16.99 on March 01. I recently phoned the company which certifies me that if I had proof of the cancellation (cancellation number), they would refund me the 4 withdrawals; if not, no refund was possible.
After searching my papers, I found the cancellation number, the date (February 17), the time (hour and minute to be exact). I called 20 minutes later and gave the cancellation number. The representative acknowledged having the confirmation number in their record but could not refund more than 2 withdrawals! Their story changed within the 20 minutes.
Question 1: Why did they hide the confirmation number from me on my first call, since they had it in their record?
Question 2: Why did they certify that they would refund me the total amount and changed their story when I gave proof of my cancellation.
They refund me only the last 2 withdrawals.
This company (TLG Shoppers and TLG Great Fun) does not deal with the client in good faith.
