My A/C went out on 5/25 around 4:30 in the evening and I put in a claim through CHW (Choice home warranty) automatic phone system. I got an automated response saying "Fred's heating and cooling" was dispatched. For the next 3 days I could not get Choice or Fred's to respond to my call and I had to finally pay a technician to fix it after 4 scorching days and staying at friends'. Choice says they will not honor the amount as I did not call the authorization dept. Per contract they were supposed to answer calls and advice properly.
