I bought a home warranity from choice home warranty. I bought there total plan with some extras. On May 3 I call Choice home and told them that my washer was not working. My washer was only 20 months old. I waited until monday, call choice to see what was happening. They told me that they were having a hard time to find someone to look at the washer and to go ahead and have someone to look at it to see what the problem was. ABC Appliance came. The company that I had bought it from. The tech said that my motor was bad along with another part and that the repair would be in the area of 550.00. He had to call choice to see what they wanted done and was told not to repair the washer as it was to much. That they would pay me for another one. On there contract the writing is if the covered item is beyond repair, CHW will replace your unit with a similar or like feature model, or even send you a check to buy a new item. I talked to a man name Ron and he said they would send me 395.00 for another unit but I told him that it costs about 690.00 for the same make and like unit. To make a long story short that is all that they will pay. I am very unhappy as that is not what there contract says.
