I work near the Walmart on Marks by Sunset and the 95fwy. I go there all the time, and when I need a great price on certain products this is where I spend my money. Truth be told, I could probably spend every paycheck I earn at this store, but I digress.
Tonight I called to get a price on some tires, and I didn't get the level of service I normally get so I called back. On the second call I got a member of the leadership team by the name of Sabrina. She immediately took control of the situation by realizing why I was frustrated.
She let me speak, then she:
1) Placed me on a brief hold
2) Went and found the price of the tires I was looking for and
3) Came back to the line and gave me the information I was asking for all along.
These days, unfortunately, sometimes good customer service is hard to find. You could make the arguement that her actions were inefficient in some ways, but because of her excellent customer handling skills I will continue to "feel good" about coming back to this store in the future. I just wanted somebody to know what a great job she did. I manage a team of people where I work so I know the value of a sincere, timely and well earned compliment.
