Bought a Range from Sears about one year ago, the middle oven window went out of place. I called their 800 number, a representative was very respectfull, but she said she can't do any thing about it. I asked to speak to a supervisor, she said it will cost $95 for someone to come and take a look plus they will charge extra for time and labor, I told her I had a G. E stove before, Best buy sent someone to fix the timer after I had it for 5 years with no charge. We bought lots of appliances before from Sears but never again I said to her, she hung up the phone on me.
My advice, Sears and Kmart are the worst tores when it comes to customers service, no wonder they are closing stores, I fell bad for the people that wrk there, but they will be better off working somewhere else, if you shop there, be prepared to deal with people who were trained how not to serve the customer..
