2:28pm CST., St Paul, MN - Comcast Internet carrier:
ATTEMPT TO OBTAIN BANK ACCOUNT ACCESS INFORMATION FROM MY CONNECTED ONLINE computer. I took an Inbound hard line phone call on my home phone, a Chinese sounding male telling me I had bad virus on my computer to look and they were emailing me notifications about it, directing me to my computer and to click on the arrow on the email sent to prove he knew what was on my computer, showing an id #. And the caller repeated the # I was seeing on the screen, I realizing he was able to tap into my computer at that moment. The (Male Caller sounded Chinese, (it was not Japanese, I speak and know Japanese language, besides English.).
The caller then asked if I did online banking on my computer. I then unplugged my computer from the house electric wall plug, hearing that question. The caller became angry, asking what did I do, did you unplug your computer!!!
I spoke several choice words to the caller and hung up. Went to the bank and changed my pw's on all accts. I was told by comcast by unplugging the computer, I cleared the IP address they had in the connection. I have made complete report to Comcast and will notify State and Federal Authorities.
